Our Story
Jishu Labs is a founder-led AI product studio in its early stages. The name 'Jishu' comes from the Japanese word meaning 'independence' and 'self-reliance,' reflecting how we work: building practical, self-contained tools end-to-end rather than outsourcing the hard parts.
We started with a simple idea: developers spend too much time on repetitive, undifferentiated work that AI is well suited to handle. Instead of one large product, we set out to build a suite of small, focused AI tools that each do one job well.
Today that suite is eight AI tools (Sensei, Keisan, Kioku, Kiku, Kozo, Shivo, Michi, and Jumbi), sharing a single sign-in and a common foundation. We are pre-launch and still early, and we are building in the open as we go.
Our Mission
To build practical AI tools that take repetitive work off developers' plates, so they can spend their time on the work that actually needs a human.
Our Vision
To grow a focused, well-crafted suite of AI tools that developers reach for every day, built with the same care whether the studio is one person or many.
